Live in Alpha Year, Multimedia University

I have been tagged by Raw Potato, and I just realize, she is also MMU student! Anyway, thanks for the tag that I owe you so many weeks, and I promise to write it today.

What is the nice memories in Alpha Year?
(Alpha Year is the first year in MMU)

1. Em, I never join so much activities in high school before, and since I enter MMU, I realize that, join activities is the best way to socialize, and I knew a lot of friends through activities, too many too mention la! Some that I knew in my class, although not all now study in Cyberjaya, but it's a very nice moment!

2. I have many first time in my life in Alpha Year. The first time to go on ice, the first time to have a meal that expensive than RM 20, the first time to experience a lot of things, and much more! But never hold a girl's hand before yet...

3. My first birthday cake since age of 6. I never ask for anything for my birthday, just hope if there is someone can remember this day, 17th of May. And my ex-roommate, arrange together with my gang, give my a birthday cake and present! I am so touching, never imagine that moment before!

4. Study what I like is still the best in Alpha. I never regret to take Information Tech as my course, and I will fulfill the requirement to be one of the best Software Engineer in the country! Study what I like is my way to success~~

5. I shook Vince Chong's and K-Town Clan's hand!

If you don't know them, whatever, I shook their hands in their performance during Trinite 2007 because I am the DJ mixer, haha! Although I have both good and bad experience towards the event, however, both make me grow up, thanks to those who threat me sucks.

For this, I don't know much about MMU Bloggers, so I think whoever is MMU students and reading my blog and feel like want to write, leave a comment, and go ahead, see ya!

Trinite 2007: Temptations - The Last Installment

Previous night, 31 March, 2007, Trinite was successfully held at Equatorial Hotel, Melaka. This post is to conclude Trinite, continuously from my previous post.

As a working committee, we do have a free hair do from professional hair studio--TEAM Hair. The designer designed a stylish hairstyle for me, with some yellow color dye, and the best is the glitter than made my hair looks shining.

After hair do, we moved to our main event venue--Equatorial Hotel. The lobby is beautiful and elegant, especially the big light on top my head. How good if this is my house?...

Wow! The performances were awesome!
Joey G and Marion Caunter, as our respective MC, were so professional! Marion Caunter looks so sexy on the stage! Wow! With the cute Joey G, so adorable! They brought the environment to the highest level, by just simply crap(but I love their crap style!) They carried out some small games like dancing, cat walking on stage, and passing rubber band with straw, using mouth. I can see the environment is very excited when Joey G cut the straw become shorter and shorter if the participants managed to pass the rubber band in time.

The highlight of the night, was the performance from our celebrities! "Let us welcome Vince Chong!" The man who win the Academic Fantasia, stood out on the stage there, singing You're Beautiful, and he walked down the stage, sang together with the guests. Another 2 songs selected by him was... I can't remember... sorry, will post up later once I check it out.

The second performer is Dayang Nurfaizah! I believe many Malay guests love her. I saw a lots of people snapping photo with her and request signature from her. When she came out, she is much more open minded and sexy than I thought, especially her beautiful long hair.

OK, this is a tough one. Guess who are they? Here is the Clue-- "U le le U le le Oh!" Yo! It's K-Town Clan! I love their songs, they can rap very fast, although not really understand each sentences, but just simply like to drown into the madness with them.

Some downside of my mood...
I was changed into internal division during the extremely critical hour, to in charge the DJ system(what the fuck?!, I be a DJ?) I spent 1 hour for my director to brief me about my new task and memorize the sequence of the song or music to play, and in charge the projectors display... Very difficult for me to handle it, as I never have any time to practice and rehearsal, plus a low class mouse that always move the cursor even the mouse is idle. I accidentally clicked a song that not suppose to play during that time because of that mouse. Look like a good investment in mouse is important. I warned by director even the fault was the volume control unit by HMG(is it HMG?) company. But I admit that some problems are my fault. I really try my best to do it, sorry. I felt nervous for the whole night, I don't even have the mood to eat.

The worst things is, I don't have camera! That's why I don't have high quality photo here...

What cheers me up....
Vince Chong and K-Town Clan shook my hand when he finished his song. (because I am the DJ, yea!) I also got a free PenDrive mousepad(enough for that, I don't request much)

Update: Trinite 2007: Temptations

This is the update for my previous post, Trinite 2007: Temptations.

Today is the second day of launch, and I still don't know the selling result, but I have confident in it that almost half of the hall was booked.

Please be patient, as our website need some time to load it, because it is Flash based.

Last update: I announce that all Trinite 2007 that total up to 70 tables were fully booked since 28 Feb morning, 11am, this is really a great result from Trinite committees, yeah!

Trinite 2007: Temptations

Trinite 2007 will be held on 31st March 2007 at Equatorial Hotel, Melaka. As one of the working committee, I really glad and excite with the launching of one of the biggest event in MMU, Melaka campus.

Why name it Temptations?
The theme for this Trinite 2007 is Temptations. Why? Before setting of the theme, we committees already tempted by the artists, foods, nice costumes, romantic environment.... That's why we named it Temptations. Trinite 2007 also called The Last Installment. As most MMU students know, this is the 3rd year of Trinite, and 3rd, or 3, is a lucky number: 3 is a primary number, 3 is for good luck, and as you all can notice, all trilogy movies like Matrix and The Lord Of The Rings, the best episode is the 3rd episode, and no more after 3rd episode. We promise that this is the last and will going to be the best Trinite ever, thrust me, enjoy it.

Who is coming?
This year, we invited quite a numbers of artists and performers to heat up the environment. Our hosts, hehe, will be 2 Asia's hottest VJs in the form of Channel [V]'s Joey G and Marion Caunter. Tempted? Relax, more are coming, Malaysia's bilingual performer, Dayang Nurfaizah, Akademi Fantasia Season 1 winner, Vince Chong, and the nation's raging hip-hop vocal group and Blast Off! 2005 winner, K-Town Clan. Relax again, some special guests will appear on that day.

Today is the first day of Trinite 2007 launch, and I as the working committee had to go to the booth to distribute flyers. The flyers is cool, definitely will attract people's attention, as the flyers, or card boards, is full color, with the celebrities and some details printed on it. You won't going to throw it away, because it looks so nice! The flyers was design by Amanda. I will going to keep some as bookmarks.

People always said picture never lie. See the background of Trinite 2007? This is the largest banner in MMU. Looking everybody who passed by with their eyes starring on the background for so long time, they all tempted by it. The respond for the first day very very good, some sign up on the spot, some even no need explanation, just sign up at the counter. Before 10am, already more than 4 tables booked. The last year Trinite 2006 committees done a good job to promote it.

Price
For early birds, you can get the tickets at RM89 per person for Premium seat, and RM85 for Standard Seat. The difference is the distance from the stage. Something to put attention: this early birds promotion is just for Table Booking, still not open to individual seat booking, so in this early birds promotion, faster collect 10 persons of your friends to book for a table. The maximum seats for a table is 10 persons.

Me?
For me, a working committee, will have a good arrangement for us, of course. I got the tickets at lower price. However, I can't enjoy like others who paid full prices, because I need to work and play at the same time. What to do? Nothing on this planet is free, had to work it out.
