She had a foxy tail, and, definitely, better than you, in everything. So, slowly, I gave up on you…

Ok, enough crap. It’s just about Internet Explorer 6 and Firefox.

Since Google remove the support for old browser like IE6, it forced organization to upgrade their browser to the supported version. This is Google’s initiative to push the Internet forward, and I totally support it~

Internet Explorer 6 died on 1st March, 2010.

Aten Design Group organized a funeral for IE6, which quite hilarious, but it’s a respect for a browser which been on the Internet for 8 years… RIP.

“Picture!” This is the most common word I heard in Casino, means J, Q and K cards, which when combined with an Ace, will get you blackjack~

Yesterday is my first time enter Casino in my life. While I was still 20, I made joke that I will wait outside Genting Casino entrance before 12:00am of my birthday, and straight go in when I am 21, but never able to do that. haha.

With Su, Sotong, and Sam, we departed early morning to Genting Highland. Recall the last time I been there is already 3 years ago.

Went up by cable car. Remember 3 years ago, Digi has no signal on there, now they already can advertise on cable car.

As expected, police who guarded the entrance checked my IC, twice, out of 3 enters. Not really a bad news thought, means I have 66.67% young look, and 33.33% mature~ wahaha

First experience is always memorable. The machine “piut piut blink blink” sound, the gamblers shouting, and the grand interior design.

Not really a gambling kaki, I just want to have some special life experience. Seeing Su and Sotong playing, I was just walking around check out each table and game play.

No photo is allow in there. Sotong threatened me, said if I took photo, 2 black shirt big muscle guy will come and pull me go “drink coffee”.

This is the only photo I got in there [;)] where everyone who sit on it will eventually turn into zombie. They sitting there for hours, starring at the screen, with only 1 finger moving. I call it the dumb box.

The people
Few parties in there:

Police – need not me to mention much, you know what they do.

Dealer – Genting stuffs who can count cards like computer speed, and arrange card like a machine.

Player aka investor – consist 99% of casino people. Mostly aunty and uncle in the upper middle age up to grandpa/grandma level. Able to spend RM500 like RM50.

 

Their Expression
I wasn’t play at all, but enjoy the environment in there. Looking at those uncle/aunty face, some winning face, some losing face, mostly dumb face.

Some act pandai(clever), will tell other gambler how to play, but lose at the end; some will think they know statistic by jotting down every number every round, but actually it is just randomness.

Wasn’t playing any, as I am in budget tight shit. Remember my friend Eric, the all-round gambler told me: “If you got no money, don’t gamble, never assume gamble can make you rich.”

Guess I am just not good at trying luck.

Spent almost half day in the casino. The whole day was recalling the scene in the movie ‘21’(Blackjack).

Really missing the cool breeze up there. Haiz, back to reality, I just got assigned new task to continue my internship’s Joukuu project.

Haha, this is just a small discovery I found out between this 2 posters. And the title Muzzling Rain in March《三月里的小雨》sounds like Jay's previous album November's Chopin《十一月的萧邦》.

UPDATE!!
beside the 2 "coincidences", there is 1 more. The main actress in Jay's first self directed movie, Secret, is 陆小雨， (direct translation means Little Rain), same like the theme for the orchestra, 三月里的小雨，(direct translation is Little Rain in March). Will the orchestra base on the love story of her.....?

Why I want to Eat at Fridays?

Haiz, since the last time I went T.G.I. Friday at The Curve, Damansara, was 2 or 3 months ago. Since the semester started, I was always busy , and now is exam week!

But, when think about what to do after exam,... hehe, should find something to pamper myself, after so long hard work.

Usually enter this kind of high class restaurant, I will order main course, like pasta, than other side course, like ice-cream, as it seems more worth(I am like kind of cheap bastard, do I?)

But this time, I want a better pasta! (Yes, pasta again, I love pasta)

I visited their website, and flip through the menu, yes! I found Pasta~ And, what the? The menu is so long!

And for drinks, I usually depend on mood. But mostly, I order juice, prefer lemon juice, which let me suddenly sour till my eyes can't open!

Spiderman 3: Put down something is the start of something.

Yesterday just watch the blockbuster movie, Spiderman 3, at Mahkota Parade. The online tickets reservation were full for so days, so I and my friends have to buy at the counter, and sat at the first row.

"Can a man confront the forces of darkness without giving in to them?" Although 77% of people said can(the data from Spiderman 3 website), included me, but only the man who undergo such stress can feel and understand it.

This time, Spiderman 3 storyline is not as good as previous one. Peter Parker at last together with his in love girl friend, Marry Jane(MJ). This is what I like to see, kind of pity of him in the first 2 episodes. The technology and visual experience has upgraded, the coolest part is when Spiderman saving the police daughter from the collapse building hit by lost controlled crane. What say you?

Spiderman was took over by the dark suit which give him extra strength. This is the main part of this story, that let me discuss in myself: Can a man confront the forces of darkness without giving in to them?

The villains who appear in this episode is the most numbers, compare to first 2 episodes which has only 1 villain per episode. First villain is Harry Osborn, Peter best friend, who always want to revenge to Spiderman who he thought Spiderman killed his father.

Second villain is Sandman, a biological mutated human who accidentally felt into an experiment instrument. He can change into sand, and flow to wherever he want.

Last villain is a virus from outerspace. That virus will have a mutual relation with the host, giving the host extra power and strength, but make him lose his mind.

What not satisfy me in this movie.
The villains in this story. Very illogic. The biological mutated sandman can change into any shape and back into human form anytime. This is something like the upcoming mutated movie-Fantastic 4, which is much more shit. Someone who study biology please explain the possibility of happening this?!

The virus from outer space that abandoned by Spiderman take over another poor fellow Eddie Brock who always want to kill Peter, as he caused him lose job. This is ok, what's not ok is, when the virus took over him, he has the Spiderman ability to shot out spider web! What the heck is that?!

What I feel so satisfy.
Peter found his love, and almost been together. The romantic part is watching meteor rain on the spider web with Marry Jane. Sometimes has a childish imagination: how good if I can fly like Spiderman, swing from building to building, saving and protecting a girl that I love.

Harry Osborn, who was his best friends for live, found out that Peter is Spiderman, and want to kill him to give his father honor, using a lot of dirty way, threat MJ to leave Peter, stab him from the back, until his house keeper told him that his father was killed by his own glider.(he is the one who clean his father's body)

The theme of this story surrounding one value, put down something, is the start of something.

Beginning, Peter was so ego and self satisfying that everyone like Spiderman, and never care about MJ's feeling, even she was fired from Broadway, but he don't know. Until she leave him, he realize something more important.

1. He gave up his ego, and be together with MJ.
2. He also gave up the evil dark suit which give him extra strength, but make him lose his mind.
3. He gave up to kill his uncle's murderer, the sandman(wonder why? Watch the movie and you will know), and forgive him.
4. Harry Osborn, who at first want to kill Spiderman, and at last put it down and turn out to help Spiderman to save their beloved MJ. And Harry sacrificed to save his best friend, Peter.

It is wonderful to let go some burdens, which can't make you feel happy, even you achieved those targets. This make the movie worth to watch.

Last but not least, see original, buy original, be smart.

After about 1 year, I realize it...

When Disney Channel first release it in January 20 2006, everyone was mad with it, love it so much, people admire the singers, hope the same romantic scene will happen in real their life. It's High School Musical.

Story start with a basketball captain Troy Bolton ( starred by Zac Efron) and Gabriella Montez (starred by Venessa Anne Hudgens), 2 completely stranger, both joined a New Year party. They were selected to sing a song with the title "Start Of Something New". The story went on with their high school life, conflict, and how they overcome the problems.

I am the one who seldom listen to music, as I can't concentrate when I listen to music while doing other stuff. Recently during Trinite 2007, Vince Chong sang a song entitle "Breaking Free", I just realize how nice is the musical. I feel young again (although I am not old!) when listen to the song, I feel like I am still in secondary school, with dreams, and love.

One of my friend Weiyin, who always imagine herself as a wizard, love the musical so much! Now I just realize it, me too.

2. I don't like to clean my room, because messy give me a sense of busy and inspiration.

1. I always wake up around 8am in the morning, even without alarm clock. (biology students may explain this)
2. My past time is to blog. (Some said blogging is a waste of time, but if it can let you get some income?.....)
3. I seldom eat junk food, no Coke, no Pepsi, no Twisties.
4. I am a black belt Karate trainee, don't play play... but since I can't compete in this sport, I decided to switch to other sport.
5. I love photo editing, like snapping photo together with Lee Hom, get on TIME Magazine. Next time may try to get on Fortune or National Geographic.
6. I will study Software Engineering for my degree, and will try my best to work in international software company like Google or Microsoft (I know many people hate Microsoft)
7. I prefer original software. My future PC will be running with genuine Windows Vista Home Premium. Using original not mean that I am rich, just as a responsible to the company. If you want to use it, paid for it, don't dig a hole on it. I don't want to see other people using pirated version of my software in the future. Fight for original! (although currently I still can't afford to buy original Photoshop which cost RM2300++)
8. I love outdoor activities, like jungle, or just a field. I don't like shopping mall, bored of Kuala Lumpur.

What you will do with Death Note?

Based on the popular manga (Japanese Comic), Death Note and Death Note: The Last Name (pronounced as Desu nôto in Japanese) were filmed into movies, and I were impressed by the detective storyline. The story is about a university top student, Yagami Light, accidently picked up a book of Death God, and who ever name written in that book, will die. Light use the book to kill the criminals who successfully survived from law, and his action were strongly disagreed by law taker. A genius detective, L, were hired to find out who did that. The story goes on while Light try to kill L, but L try to find evidences to jugde Light.

If I got a death note...
I really dont know what to do with it. Killing people by using it, I really can't make it. But imagine if this book felt into one of the politician, what happen to Malaysia? Haha, just kidding, no such thing in the world... No matter what, we can't give death to other by our own.

Yagami Light ( Tatsuya Fujiwara )

A handsome university student, accidently picked up a Death Note and decide to bring a Whole New world by killing criminals with his Death Note. People call the person(Light) who killing criminals as Kira.

L ( Ken'ichi Matsuyama)

A genius detective that hired to find out who is killing those criminals. A wierd and horror look, and always eat sweet foods.

Misa Amane (Erika Toda )

A singer that admire Kira. She has the second Death Note, and she combined with Light to help him success. Has a cute look, and very mentally strong.

This is really a good movie, must watch. Maybe not as good as Oscar movie, but for action movie lover, this is enough. But before you watch the second episode, please watch the first one, to understand the story. What you think? What you will do with Death Note? Comment it.

Blood Diamond, by Leonardo Dicaprio

I watch this film just now, and I think this is another best film I even watched. The story set back to 1990 during a civil war in Sierra Leone, West Africa. Revolutionary United Front (RUF) captured a fisherman, Solomon Vandy( Djimon Hounsou ), to work in the diamond fields and the diamond from the mines are use by the RUF to buy arms and finance their efforts. Solomon found a 2 inches giant pink diamond in the field and hide it. The story goes on when a diamond smuggler, Danny Archer (Leonardo DiCaprio ) found out about the diamond and agreed to save Solomon's family to exchange for the giant diamond, with the help of a New York Journalist, Maddy Bowen ( Jennifer Connelly ).

Why this movie name Blood Diamond?
Blood diamond, or conflict diamond, is the diamond from a war zone that use to finance the military, and to get it, many lives had been sacrificed. In the movie, RUF will just sweep the whole village, killing spree, and the weak survivors' will be chopped down their hands, so they can't vote; while the stronger one will be sent to diamond fields to dig diamonds.

War, is never be an excuse, although many leaders said: I fight for freedom!! (bullshit) Until now, there are still 200,000 children soldiers in Africa alone, as they are more easily to influence. They were trained into emotion-less killing machine. this is the fact I learn from this movie.

Don't buy Conflict Diamond, please!

When you buy diamond, no matter for your lovely Wife-to-be or anyone, please, think for the lives that sacrificed, DON'T BUY conflict diamond!! The effective way to differentiate between legitimate diamond and blood diamond is, a legitimate diamonds WILL come with a well structured certificate that show the country of origin, to ensure the diamond is from government-controlled areas.

Some scenes that deeply touch my heart.
When Solomon brought the blood diamond from Africa to London to trade with the De Beers Group, I found that in the same planet, but the people and environment are so different. Another scenes is when Solomon looking at the giant jewelry in a shop at London.

This is really a great movie, please watch it, to know a little about what really happen in the dark side of this so-called peace world.
