10 件毕业感言

4年的大学生活已经结束了。虽然有好多的不舍，但生活还是要往前走。

离开了大学生涯，虽然带有一点点伤感，但整体来说，还是蛮开心的~ 因为这段期间认识了好多人，大大小小，明明暗暗，好好坏坏，（大多数都是好人啦）。

4年里学了好多事情，这里不谈课业里学到的，想把自己在4年里学到的道理写出来，有10个，就让那些还在上着大学的朋友分享下：

1. 钱不是最重要，开心才是关键。但不要搞到自己没钱吃饭。
2. 对不起不要随便说，说了就要实践它。
3. 这时间很大可能会遇见生命中的伴侣，请认真地考虑和珍惜她/他。
4. 课可以旷，但请确定自己有本事旷。
5. 除了学业外，最好有一项会让自己骄傲的运动。
6. 不要凡事都怪老师不会教，只要是看你自己要不要学，Google已经很发达了。
7. 很多时候都是朋友陪我们度过一切，所以要好好珍惜他们。珍惜，其实就是感激。别忘了自己也是好多人的朋友。
8. 控制好自己的脾气，否则很容易犯下后悔一生的错误。
9. 在这段时间跌倒，只需要站起来笑一下，然后继续走，没有人会笑你的；如果你坐在地上不肯爬起来，才会被笑。
10. 不要装可怜来让别人注意，因为没人会每一次都同情你的，遇到问题就要自己去解决，写一大堆和说一大堆，要给谁知道？

每个人都有不同的体验吧，你们在4年里有体会到什么？

其实，我好幸运。

Finally

Finally, I completed my FYP.

FYP is Final Year Project, a term that widely used in MMU, but most local university prefer the term, thesis.

And I believe, most people hate it. (right?)

This project had been started since last year November 2009, duration until April 2010, about 7 months of planning and implementation, which I learned A LOT A LOT A LOT A LOT A LOT x 10000.

Project successfully implemented on time, with most expected features. When I submitted it just now, a sudden feeling of emptiness in my mind. Not because I had nothing to do anymore, but this project already took about 85% of my brain capacity, and I need time to get balance.

Computer was my best friend, my primary language become C#, sometimes woke up at 8am with the whole brain full of codes and algorithm, ish.

I can’t remember the last time what movie I watched… I can’t remember when is the last time I walk in a mall… I can’t remember when I got haircut, I can’t remember when I back hometown…

(actually I do remember, just the time is too long~)

This project, makes me realized that everyone has weakness. I have my weakness, you have your weakness, and I shall not assume everyone has the skill that I have.

To my FYP partner leekian, sorry for some quarrel during this project, I learned my lessons, and thanks for your all kind of support, directly or indirectly, you do did a great job. I did promise will score A for this project, and I can see we really tried our best, thank you to make this project complete on time, the rest is up to the moderator and supervisor. Thanks again to be my partner.

So, FYP completion present came early. I bought a new Seba iGoR skates for myself, and train hard to get to Korea for my first big competition~ (hopefully)

Congratulation to everyone who completed the FYP on time (and myself). I need to slowly get back my life!

The Maze

Maze game that we played since we small had been lost count, and In fact, all mazes are play on paper, or newspaper.

My ex-housemate, Carls’s  Cyber-P project, call Labyrinth: The Dead End, is really a real size maze~ OK la, quality is not like those world class using brick one, but still playable la~

“I am lost… How?”

Went there with Calvin. Our sense of direction is just so dumb. At least used 15 minutes in the maze, visiting the same place again and again. Next time should use maze algorithm to exit~

Quite some surprise in there, try it out yourself.

Location: In-Door Badminton court, MMU. (beside stadium food court)

Time: 3pm to 10pm

Date: 24 – 25 Nov (means tomorrow is last day)

There are a lot secrets in District MMU...

Early morning at 7am, me and Bobby has a crazy idea: to explore the hidden lake in MMU.

"MMU got lake?!!"

Yup, a lot of people don't know that.

From Cyberia, we jogged by FIT, FOM, and rest a while this haunted pondok.

And also this haunted observation tower. Not dare to climb up, the stairs seem like will collapse anytime.

And just beside the observation tower, noticed this scary scene! A burned down building! The atap roof melted and sank!

Shit....

The metal structure melted and sank down.

Just behind the burned down thing, is the hidden lake of MMU, reach~

The lake seems not very deep, populated with lotus, fish, birds, and polystyrene food container. Means someone actually come here, should be MMU cleaning kakak.

The lake is not big, but the quietness is creepy~

Wish there won't be a giant monster come out from the lake and pull me in from behind.

DO NOT SWIM IN THERE, ELSE YOUR HEAD WILL GONE.

Around the lake are cempedak trees. Weird, I remember cempedak tree at my grandma's house is so tall. The tree at lake side has white liquid come out from the cut on the trunk, like rubber tree. Hybrid Alien Tree.

The lake is full of this kind of weird fish, like those in our aquarium to clean the surface.

Ish, found one dead on the grass! Don't know how it came up. Must be some kind of alien fish.

There are so many more! Alien fish!

Guess where is this place? Is in MMU too.

 

Conclusion:

MMU is hiding something from us. HAHA. 

Centimeter's Affair.

I hate to be nerd, but somehow I did what they did.

These are the notes that I read these few days. Total of 21 chapters, averagely 40 slides per chapter, printed into a 6-in-1 handout A4 paper. Which employee need to memorize it...

Consist of 2 subjects: System Analysis and Design, and Software Requirements Engineering. I think is a useful subject in my future, but memorizing it seems... stupid, very.

If want to count the number of pages, I need 2 years. So I used ruler to measure the thickness, hem... about 2cm.

I damn hate this kind of exam. I can understood the facts, rules, I just suck in memorizing those 'properties' and 'factors' and 'bullshit'! (but in my mind, I know which chapter it is, and which section of the notes, which title, too! Just I can't refer... that's sad...)

Sorry if my boredom 'bored' you, I just finished 2 papers continuously.

1 last subject, Computer Security, will be on Friday.

Shit, another 1cm to go. Total 3cm in this semester.

Second Blood Donation

After the First Blood, this time has more guts to donate blood.

Chosen Thursday after class, me and Hao went to donate blood during MMU 21st Blood Donation Drive. Normal procedure, filling forms, taking blood type test, short questioning session, blood pressure measurement etc. I am blood type O positive, almost everyone can take my blood~

There is something special in this donation session: a small portion of our blood will be provided for the research of prevalence and frequency of Diego blood group, of course with our permission.

I choose the donation seat with right arm rest, so I can donate from right arm. (I am left handed)

seeing the blood flowed in the transparent 'straw', actually won't feel pain. To pull away attention toward the 'straw', my left hand still can sms Lee.

Sad leh... I thought my body weight is 47 something... but the weight at there is 46 only. Damn must be the weight at my home spoiled...

donated 350ml, then waited for Hao. He donated 450ml, slower.

Save a piece of paper~
I requested not to print my donation certificate, 1 piece of paper saved~ (But I took a lot free gift, like Milo packs, Nescafe packs, bread, biscuits, box drinks, hehe~ must show off to the broke ass Bobby I got food~)

Thinking about the impact you can change, it's not really a painful process. Who knows the pack of blood that I donated today will use back on myself, or my loves one?

Green Green Green!

Today is the last day of Green Club's Green Week, yea!

I am totally GREEN for today, from green contact lens, green shirt, to green under (er...), and doing green job. I am GREEN. Trying to take a photo of green contact lens, but very not obvious in photo. But just for today, as the lens is 1 day use only, free sample, and also my first soft lens experience.

Realize that I never post anything about this Green Week, so here I will briefly talk about it. Actually this Green Week is to promote Green Club to the campus, and based on the theme 3R Campaign, which is Reuse, Reduce, and Recycle.

For the past few days we collected a huge amount of recyclable items like paper, plastic bottles, CDs and aluminum cans, from our booth at Central Plaza, lecturers at respective faculty offices, and also fellow students who stay in hostel block.

I felt the coolest part of this campaign is the Petition.

假妈的第一个学期

在少过10天内，这个学期就要结束了。在我还来不及察觉到时间的经过，时间已经不知不觉从我的手指间，溜走了，抓不到，但却是我最满足的一个学期。

这学期，算是还蛮忙的，每一天都有课，拿6科科目，都是数学、程序编写、小生意、操作系统、网路结构，和最好玩的，网球。上课时，已经渐渐从“一进班马上睡觉”，演化成“一进班温习功课”，但有时太累了，还是顶不到，睡了。

学到了一直都想学的Java语言，刚开始很怕学不会，怕自己不能以GUI的模式思考。就一直在家里练习，重复又重复，最后终于交出了Assignment，还满意的分数~以后如果要掌控一个语言，就选这个，吧。

 

网球也是很好玩。很好人的教练，可是却很热的太阳。从来都没有真正的玩过任何的拍类运动的我，还买了一把网球拍，橙色。再偷（捡）几粒网球，就可以玩了～以为自己可以玩得很好，可是却好像是全场最烂。

经常找借口说：“他们以前一定是玩过的。。。”，其实是自己烂～哈。

在家里，就把全部家具移开，和墙壁一起练，好玩，但效果不是很好，给我一种自闭的感觉。。。最后还是要找人来练。

很帅的拍，很烂的主人。

还有就是小生意，最让我头痛和担心的，也是最最最开心的。买材料，上网找教材，租地方，做广告，然后卖珍珠奶茶，mang siao siao,我会做珍珠奶茶，还会 all in one 咯！赚了ＲＭ２５０，要不是那个死搅拌机坏掉，还有更多。他妈的。

结果就整个礼拜没去上课，（有啦，１小时啦），一点也不后悔，反正去了也没有听懂什么。

最他妈的就是那个偷走我们Anything and Whatever的桶的那个小人！害我现在要陪人家ＲＭ１００！

非正式轮滑社
失败，到了现在还是没有一个名分，但会员却明显增多了。管他的，最重要是开心。感谢大家在努力地拉人进来参加，也相信你们全都很喜欢这个运动。最开心时是在每个人都没有什么负担时，一起滑，谈天，做傻事，追逐。下学期，可能会有更多人加入？

某个时候拍的照。

在这个学期，终于去绑牙了。要绑好久，一年左右，闷掉。又要拔牙，丽说是她一定会不舍得，可是没办法，不然没有位绑～等下次，我就会有比较“帅气”的笑咯。

这个学期这段时间，最满足的，是和你在一起的时间，很短，却非常非常的开心。在我感到非常的压力时，随便和你聊一点点都可以让我轻松下来；生气时，看到你我就气不出了；想懒惰时，想到你我又可以继续地走；不高兴时你的一封ＳＭＳ我会感动流泪；你给的难题，我不曾逃避；看到你高兴，什么牺牲都觉得值得；看不到你，会担心紧张，但却装出一副不在乎的样子。。。这种感觉，对我是多么的重要和珍惜，真的。

可能是我不够努力，加上一点木头，没办法感动你，你一定要开心，不然我会不放心的。

这学期，在我大学这段日子，记忆最深刻的一个学期。学了好多，不想这么快就毕业。

V: "Har?" (happy, go forward and take it)

It's a New Zealand Natural outlet voucher worth RM10. Find a day and spent it la, before 31 Oct 2008. I doubt this voucher enough for the cheapest item in the outlet?

The cool thing is, there are 3 lucky draws during the night, and ALL winners are from MMU!~ Yahoo!

2nd Button

Time is fast. When you enjoying certain things, you won't feel the time flow through your body, your mind, your hand, but it just will flow through, like air.

This week will be the last week of our MMU final year seniors, who going to have their Convocation on coming Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. I still have 1 year and 10 months in this university, although I always critic "MMU sucks la" , but finally I still want to be MMU-ian.

The best feeling, I can work now! Earn my own money, do my own thing! However, the worst feeling for graduating is the feeling of separate from friends, lecturers, exams, quizzes, ponteng(absent because of lazy), "sign for me"(MMU best slogan), and everything you can mention during university life, everything we say sucks, but the end we just want the "sucks"...

A less known Graduation Tradition
During graduation, guy will give away his 2nd button on his shirt(or uniform) to someone he loves, sometimes is the girl ask for it. But, for all the buttons on the shirt, only the second button be given away, why?

According to Japan tradition, second button on shirt is the button that nearest to heart. This is especially for school uniform, which represent the life of studying, where the guy wear it throughout the study time. It had gathered the love, happiness, sadness, emotions in it, and is very precious and full of memories.

 

But MMU without uniform, what to do? Figure it out yourself.

Melaka Day 3 -- Beach

This is continued from previous post Melaka Day 2

Recall the last time I went beach, is during my Foundation study around Aug 2006. Although I live in Penang, has plenty of chance to go beach, but due to unknown reasons, I just never been to beach, listen to sea, touch the sand for this long of time.

I went the beach once years ago, and it's still clean, still peace. Walk on the sand, walk in the water side, feel the wave.

See a sudden hole in the sand, then will dig it out and find is there is any creature in it, but every time it's nothing, don't know how the hole formed.

Love natural scene so much, and these can't be found in KL. Love the food there, the food price there, the people there, the scenery there.

Yup, I know Melaka is good, and I choose Cyberjaya is also because of Software Engineering Course doesn't available in Melaka. But if I choose Melaka at the beginning, there won't be current "me" with current "friends" and current "storyline".

The next day, or today morning, we came back, and attend 11am class~ Melaka, next time la!

Melaka Day 2 -- Explore.

This is continue from Melaka Day 1.

Guess most visitors to Melaka will NEVER miss the icons, like St. Paul Church, A' Famosa, Jonker Street etc. I visited the places several times while I still in Melaka, but everything still fresh for me. Hao is among us who never been Melaka before, he was STPM intake and never attend Foundation course in MMU Melaka.

Rented a car to go on.
First we asked for taxi.

Me: bang, sini pi DP berapa?
Driver: DP ar... RM20!
Me: Har? Dulu saya belajar sini baru RM12. Satu tahun naik sampai RM20 ar?
Driver: ini macam la, you boleh tanya saya punye boss.

SO we don't take taxi, they all crazy! Instead, we rent a car from MMU staff, 1 hour for RM6.

This is one thing that never exist when I left Melaka. It's a paronama viewer that enough to view the whole Melaka.

This is Melaka Mosquito Breeding Facility. I don't know the exact purpose and historical value of it, because the explanation sign on the "well" was gone, stolen or lost I don't know.

The day is getting dark. We move to another happening place -- Jonker Street.

Chinese Opera actors were dressing up. They have performance almost every night, but too bad I can't understand it.

This is the popular Coconut Spearing with Finger Show. There is almost every time will get injury, but he still insist to perform.

Why he do so?
First and most obvious, he is promoting his medicine which claim can heal wound in minutes. But I do appreciate he can actually draw a lot of attention from foreign visitors~

Before end the day, we did something, something that we wanted to tried for so long -- Skate in MMU Melaka!
