Reservation on Laban Rata and Kinabalu Park is booked. But is unheated room, around 7 degree Celsius at night. cold!

Poring Hot Spring
Is located beside Kinabalu Park, which is the place we start and end our hiking. Are you thinking what I thinking? Haha, of course MUST go to hot spring to wash away the sores and aches of muscles!! WA.HA.HA.

Poring Hot Spring are rich with sulphuric mineral, people believes that it have healing properties.

If we are lucky enough, we may see Raffesia, world largest flower which require 15 months to bloom, and only last for 7 days.

Picture!!

“Picture!” This is the most common word I heard in Casino, means J, Q and K cards, which when combined with an Ace, will get you blackjack~

Yesterday is my first time enter Casino in my life. While I was still 20, I made joke that I will wait outside Genting Casino entrance before 12:00am of my birthday, and straight go in when I am 21, but never able to do that. haha.

With Su, Sotong, and Sam, we departed early morning to Genting Highland. Recall the last time I been there is already 3 years ago.

Went up by cable car. Remember 3 years ago, Digi has no signal on there, now they already can advertise on cable car.

As expected, police who guarded the entrance checked my IC, twice, out of 3 enters. Not really a bad news thought, means I have 66.67% young look, and 33.33% mature~ wahaha

First experience is always memorable. The machine “piut piut blink blink” sound, the gamblers shouting, and the grand interior design.

Not really a gambling kaki, I just want to have some special life experience. Seeing Su and Sotong playing, I was just walking around check out each table and game play.

No photo is allow in there. Sotong threatened me, said if I took photo, 2 black shirt big muscle guy will come and pull me go “drink coffee”.

This is the only photo I got in there [;)] where everyone who sit on it will eventually turn into zombie. They sitting there for hours, starring at the screen, with only 1 finger moving. I call it the dumb box.

The people
Few parties in there:

Police – need not me to mention much, you know what they do.

Dealer – Genting stuffs who can count cards like computer speed, and arrange card like a machine.

Player aka investor – consist 99% of casino people. Mostly aunty and uncle in the upper middle age up to grandpa/grandma level. Able to spend RM500 like RM50.

 

Their Expression
I wasn’t play at all, but enjoy the environment in there. Looking at those uncle/aunty face, some winning face, some losing face, mostly dumb face.

Some act pandai(clever), will tell other gambler how to play, but lose at the end; some will think they know statistic by jotting down every number every round, but actually it is just randomness.

Wasn’t playing any, as I am in budget tight shit. Remember my friend Eric, the all-round gambler told me: “If you got no money, don’t gamble, never assume gamble can make you rich.”

Guess I am just not good at trying luck.

Spent almost half day in the casino. The whole day was recalling the scene in the movie ‘21’(Blackjack).

Really missing the cool breeze up there. Haiz, back to reality, I just got assigned new task to continue my internship’s Joukuu project.

Yesterday night, just few moments before National Day of Malaysia, me, Su, and Hao bought some beers and nuts from 7 Eleven to have our own SS celebration, haha! (Screw 7 Eleven, their alcohols are damn expensive! In Jusco I can get double with same price!)

How I celebrated every year?
Since in MMU, I started to "celebrated" National Day, never miss. In Alpha, my Ixora Apartment blasted Negaraku to the max. (but later some rubbish being threw down, not me)

In Beta year, I joined the National Day parade, a.k.a. marching. That is my first time putting some attention to the parade.

Putrajaya Fireworks

The Malaysia International Fireworks Competition is back again! This year the participating countries are Malaysia(of course), China, Canada, Spain, and Australia. Who will be the winner? (most people will think: buuu~ not Malaysia~)

Yesterday night I went there with YCS after dinner, and the participating country was China. The starting time was delayed from 9:30pm to 10pm and was published on the website, but we didn't notice, so waited there for 1 and half hours, but it's worth.

Ah Tiong is feeding Andrew some sweet "shoe".

While waiting under the dark sky chit chatting, suddenly Ah Tiong saw something crawling toward us. He shouted in Cantonese: "yao ye pa gan go lei!" (something crawling here!)

It's awesome. Human's eyes are the best camera, no exposure, white balance adjustment etc~

It's a not bad one actually, just too much red and green color shots make me little bit dizzy, but still like it~ The whole fireworks lasted 25 minutes(around that). And for every blast on the sky, we heard "wah", "Wah", and "Wahhhhhh"~~~~

There will still be Canada Team on 20th August, Spain on 24th August, and Grand Final by Australia on 29th August.

Oil Price increased, so IT employees....

A sudden increment of RM0.78 cents per liter, became RM 2.70 per liter. All this burden will put on the people -- Malaysians.

People said, Malaysia as petrol exporter, but can't provide her people with cheaper price. Em, what is cheaper price? Do RM2.70 consider cheap? Depends with who to compare.

With previous price, it's definitely expensive, but if compare with Singapore, China, etc, RM2.70 is still the cheapest price in Asia.

Cheap, but still expensive for Malaysian!
Yes, it's cheap if make such comparison, but for average Malaysians with less than RM2000 per household, is consider high.

See how the chain reaction affect IT employees:

1. Petrol price increase.

2. Transportation cost increase.

3. Almost everything that rely on transportation increase, include cost that delivered from factory to hypermarket.

4. Service sector like IT and Hospitality hard to adjust their cost, because the only main raw material for them is time and their people.

5. With their salary remain, but their living cost increase, they have to plan very very well for their every steps.

6. Salary can't adjust much but productivity have to maintain or increase, IT employees will work under high stress.

7. High stress from work can lead to: hair loss, hot temper, etc.

Is this true? Those real IT people out there please correct me if wrong.

Inappropriate Inflation
10 cents increment for 1kg flour, lead to 20~40 cents of increment for Gardenia bread, so I boycotted them for half year.

Very very appreciate someone who cares me send these messages to me, HIV is not airborne virus, and cannot spread through food.

Another weak point of this message is: if the action was started after the election, it's just not more than 2 weeks, but the time to develop detectable HIV antibodies in your blood needs at least 3 weeks to 3 months long. So even go and check now, they can't get any result too.

Just type "Can HIV spread through food?" in Google search, and you got all the results.

So stop forward this wrong message, unless you want to create another May 13.

This is not latest update of Election 2008, all I wrote here is my own opinion and not stand at any party's side, moreover, I am just 19, so I didn't contribute to any side.

Why BN lose?
Since our new Prime Minister Pak Lah get into reign, from anti-corruption became joining corruption. Everything increased prices, without control. All benefits were always benefit a small group of people, and no action taken to overcome that. Please, I cannot stand for a 10 cents increment in toll fee, which lead to 10 cents increment of everything in this market!

Why Opposition win?
Since BN is consist of a bunch of racist and family oriented rubbish like UMNO, MCA, and the worst to max MIC, so I see no reason to let them win, else they will just take it like another Malaysia Monopoly game. So, the only way is let opposition win, good job DAP in Penang, we will work out from zero.

What BN done.
Education is the worst case that led me hate BN so much. Tell you again la idiot ass hole, you set the quota is like a brain filter, you filter out those smart brain, and let those with smaller brains to go through, end up they mess up this country. Which country do that to their people? Racist! If you said it stated in Pelembagaan, it can be changed too. Law is made to adapt with current situation, not a fix physic law like E=MC^2!!!

Google coming in Malaysia?

I read this on LowYat.Net, our Boleh PM, Abdullah Badawi saying that Google( yes, is Google) is interesting to set up a base in Malaysia, due to Malaysia's policy.

I wonder what policy is that, if is about Malaysia's support towards ICT, go die. Malaysia, and the whole world knows that ICT is very important, and Malaysia is taking steps to set up MSC(recently changed to MSC Malaysia), so what?

Government hospital's staff don't know how to on PC; PTPTN website and database system is the worst system I ever seen, I believe the worst graduate can write a better one; everything is so manual in Malaysia, even our IC is chip base, but we all just use it as a 'card', government bank never offer online banking, and many more examples.

Although I do hope that this is not just hot air, as Google is one of my dream workplace, but to set a base in Malaysia which don't have enough IT graduates and professions, while Singapore already has a Google base.

Anyway, if Google is coming, of course we all welcome!

Why you pull away my Ferrari? Put it down! I just simply driving while wearing skates, is that fault in Malaysia? I don't know that!?

Kidding, this is just a equipment for a movie shooting group at Putrajaya yesterday night, while I skated with friends and members from Skateline. It's a Ferrari! But I not sure whether it's just a casing or a real car...

Prices increase, wages remain.

I really salute most Malaysians who still can survive under this big pressure, especially those low-mid-range families.

During the last Hari Raya festive, price of enrich wheat flour was increased, from RM1.70 to RM1.80 per kg, or RM0.10, or 10 cents, if you can't understand that amount.

OK, we Malaysians still can stand for that 10 cents, but hate those companies who never consider their customers, like Gardenia bread, which they increase the price from RM1.90 to RM2.10 per loaf of bread!

1 Pack is JUST 400g
I am a regular bread eater, with jam, butter, but mostly eat it blankly, and I prefer the market leader, Gardenia.  After the 3 weeks holiday, I realized that all Gardenia's products were increase in price. From their small bun to giant size bread, all increase prices in a very abnormal rate. Even worst, the mighty size Gardenia Bread increased 30 cents! Look like I will say NO to Gardenia bread, until they do something.

Don't say I kiam siap, I know we all can afford 20 cents, but, what they can explain for the 20 cents I paid? Give to their share holder's commission? F**K OFF!! When the price drop again, their prices never drop.

All Malaysian companies who increase price with unacceptable rate during EVERY prices increase in raw materials are so SHAMELESS!

PLUS Toll
Do consumers know that, PLUS toll profit was almost RM1.13 billion this year? See the keyword, is PROFIT, not revenue, and is BILLION, not million. So why the fu*k they want to increase the toll?! Can't they don't know how important they are on Malaysia's economy? A 50 cents increase in toll charge will trigger RM0.50 in all items!!

Worst than pig! Brainless! All just for share holder's benefit, and those country junk minister like Sami Vellu.

1 day if I pass the toll, will give them all coins, in 1 cent!

If there is no consumers, your company will die, no matter how many investors you got. We are your key to survive, not your target to slash.

Tonight, Malaysia will showing off to the world again.

Since Russia be the first country on Earth to send human to the space, the whole world is like addicted to this space-tech chasing game, one and one shot their machines, animals, humans, instruments up there.

Tonight, it will be our Malaysian time to show off! Our first astronaut,  Dr. Sheikh Muszaphar, will fly on space. As Malaysian, I do feel some proud of it.(Although this is just rely on our money, not our technology)

Hope when he fly up there, he will complete his tasks, no to play teh tarik on space station, and, hope he can come back safely.

Maybe most people think, this is just another waste of money, but, if a small amount of Malaysian can use this incident as their inspiration to explore the universe and make benefit to our country, the 130 million may worth it.

After the exam , is holiday again!

These days I feel so stress, so many tasks need to do, and the exam is coming next week. Someone, please help me! However, when think about after the bloody exam, will be a long long 3 weeks holiday! Wow!

Em, since my budget going low, I don't want to plan for those oversea's destinations. People said, Malaysia is small, but I never explore 80% of it yet, like Kelantan, Tioman Island, and many more beautiful and relax destinations awaiting. May consider about it.

For a 3 stars hotel on a tropical island, that is a reasonable price, as not much accommodation can be found there, and it's 3 stars hotel!

Malaysia had just passed her 50 th birthday "peacefully", and the economic is improving (compare with 50 years ago), however, the racial problem is increasing(the dialog from the video).

I think not only Chinese, even Malay agree that he is bullshiting, answers that can't match with questions.

Be independent, 50 years is more than enough, a Malay need only 5 years to get a degree, 1 month to establish a business, 8 years to pay Proton loan, 20 years to grow up new generation(which can be done at the same time as paying loan), so the rest 25 years? Enough for second generation. So, cancel out the fucking Law, let me enter local university!
