No plastic bag, no no no.

Went for a huge shopping with family at Jusco Seberang perai.

My family has a weird trend, we only shop once a month, or every 2 months. So for every “stock buying” day, the trolley will be filled until it is full.

Maybe was in Cyberjaya for too long, I don’t know that the whole Penang is having a very large scale anti plastic bag campaign, participated by all major hypermarkets. All the items in trolley being carry home without taking any plastic bag.

If want plastic bag, pay 20 cents lo~ Since 6th July 2009, every Monday is no plastic day, and saved more than 1,000,000 plastic bags. (The day we went is not Monday, maybe they expanded the days)

I love this new Penang government.

Vegetarian Update

Day 1: Jia you jia you~

Day 2: Had biscuit and bread as lunch, and vegetable mix rice as dinner. Supper is McD Sundae Cup.

Ice cream consider vegetarian? Heard some ice cream made from milk. But throughout this month, I will just not eat meat. Daily product still in my food list~

Recently, I love ice cream so much. (It makes me feel some satisfaction from recent very very bad mood)

Day 3:

During lunch in mamak stall, only pick vegetable and toufu + soya bean as drink (to replace protein) 

Dinner at Dengkil. Ordered Mixed Vegetable Rice.

Discovery: Wow, I thought only in those organic product testimonial I can see people said they can't eat without meat... In real life, seems like many people are so. 27 Days to do.

Really sad, angry, self-contradiction, all sort of negative feelings. Today worst, I started to talk and do something weird... this is not normal emo...

I spent a lot of money recently, and don't want to count it, just hope that I can exchange something to fill up the sudden giant vacuum in my heart. Travel, Ice-cream, junk food, dye hair, start vegetarian. Just want to feel better and change...

Many people said I look very 'high' and 'drunk', notice myself losing the ability to concentrate and think carefully, mistake pop out so frequent.

Trying to control myself, not being so close. The feeling is like taking drug. I don't know what to do, and who to tell.

Sometimes, quiet, don't want to talk. I don't know the reason to continue my life...

Sorry, I just feel very hard... Forcing myself to do something I not willing to do, is really really suffer... But I had no other way, I had to do it, sorry.

I hate this kind of me. I want to be sunny like last time.

Give me some time, thrust, and support, I will make it.

Started My First Vegetarian Journey~

After read a magazine about the benefit of vegetarian, and "how bad" is meat consumer, I decided to give a try for vegetarian for a month, or 30 days.

Some think vegetarian as self torture, or to return wishes, but the benefit behind it is so big.

Will update you all about it from time to time~

Please, everyone, if you saw me take or order something with meat, stop me~

Green Trip

Gathered early morning 7:30am, and departed to Bukit Cahaya, Shah Alam, to have our 1 day trip, organized by Green Club.

Bukit Cahaya, aka Taman Pertanian Malaysia, is really damn damn super dupper big than my imagination. From one area to another need to access by bicycle, or shuttle bus in the park. Walking? Unless you have 36 hours a day.

After 1 hour journey, reached~

Bicycle renting. RM3 for old bicycle, RM5 for new bicycle. RM1 for each additional hour. If you can't ride bicycle, there are plenty of shuttle bus service in the park.

Dear farm. I think is breakfast time.

This parrot attracted us with "asalamualaikum", and "apa khabar". It started to show off it's other ability like "Batman upside down hang".

"Gotham City is safe when there is Batman".

This is the coolest combination of rabbit + guinea pig having meal together.

This is the entrance of Four Seasons House. The time we visited was winter. They displayed some winter's plants in the house, which the temperature was maintained at -2 to -7 degree Celsius, very cold~!

Cute penguin family. But it's too cold until they are all freeze and can't move (fake one la!).

 

Trees covered with snow. From the photos, you may think the snow is fake, but in fact it's real snow, not like Genting's Snow World which is just bubble, this is cold. Our fingers were numbed and can't felt anything.

Green Club~

One sad accident happened, I saw Melissa fell in front of me while down slopping, fell real hard, and had her knees and palms injured. Hope she recover soon with no scar, amen.

We continued our trip with lunch and some games, until a sudden rain, we went back earlier. It's a real nice place indeed, shall visit this place again, at least visit all the 4 seasons, haha.

Thought:
Never ride bicycle since graduated from school, about 3 years ago. So happy can feel the wind on my face while cycling, with green trees around. Wonder I can skate here? haha.

Gmail got new skin~

This morning when I log in Gmail, I realize something changed. Is it because it loader the HTML view? But I immediately notice it's not HTML view.

GMail has theme now~

Now, when you are emo, or happy, you can change the theme to suit your personality that time.

Some theme is location dependant, means the theme will change, depends on the location's weather, day or night etc, cool~

I tried some of the theme, all not bad, like Beach, Mountain, Summer Ocean and more. But finally I choose Tea House.

Tea House has a cartoon style, that blend with Japanese culture, with warm color, feel comfortable with it~ Like still in my childhood time, playing under trees and picnic.

Have been using this gmail account since 2004, and still my best choice for e-mail, everyone shall try it~ Send document using gmail, and save the environment~

Langkawi Trip

Early in the Thursday morning departed from Butterworth to Kuala Kedah, thanks to our insane driver Boon Loong (aka BL). Together with other Green Club people, Gan, VP, WL.

Kuala Kedah port. It's a heavy rainy morning, but we still managed to reach there in 1 hour, with average speed 140km/h. This is call insane.

Schedule board. Not bad, feel like a mini airport.

Negotiate with the ferry guy. Actually the fees are fixed, just he introduced a car renting service and took our RM40 without explaining to us clearly. Screw him, better take it on the island after inspect the car carefully.

(Help me.....) BL got hard time during the ferry trip. In fact, everyone had. The wave is not calm, and the ferry is jerking up and down for 1 hour and 40 minutes. I am glad I didn't vomit out, thanks to a pack of  Fishermen's Friend. (but still feel very very dizzy)

This is the water at Port Kuah, Langkawi port. See the water is so clear~ (it's raining that time) Compare to the Milo at Kuala Kedah, this is much much better. Why? Not sure, maybe Kuala Kedah has more mud?

Rented a car. 24 hours for only RM40, dirt cheap.

Our place for sleeping. Bella Vista, RM120 per night, quite cheap too. Actually I don't mind where to sleep, just need some place to sleep.

This hotel is like Disneyland, but same like last time the Berjaya Hill, no people.

VP by the poolside. Nice place? Yes it is.

Langkawi also have paddy field? Ha, it's part of Kedah.

Mahsuri Tomb
First place we visited was Mahsuri Tomb. Who is she? Google for it, lazy to explain here.

See this cute little girl playing Malay traditional music instrument, very nice melody. After performance we gave a lot claps claps~

Black Sand Beach
This tourism spot is odd. Not many people that time. We all know the sand is black, but never know is really THAT black!

Mr Gan and BL is advertising themselves on the beach. (But later the wave will clean it)

What the Fuc* is this?! This place is seriously polluted and damaged. The rubbish is everywhere, and a large part of the beach was flowed away by small stream of water slowly. Guess will gone in few more years, lousy government. Visitors also should responsible for that, "some" came here, and pick a handful of black sand as souvenir, die la.

Had dinner at Kenny Roger Roaster. They served the side dishes first before the chicken, because the chicken is not yet cooked. Very weird phenomenon here, all malls, even the busiest port mall, have very low visitors, so they can't cook the chicken early, else it will become not fresh to serve.

RM1.60? Drink mineral water is more expensive than beer...

Our "supper". Go Langkawi must drink alcohols, because it really dirt cheap here. So after some drink, feel damn high, everyone laughing with no reason. (!!) I slept until no feeling... ei? it's morning liao~

Langkawi Char Kue Teow. Look almost like Penang one, just the price doubled. Here only beer and chocolate are cheap, other stuff, nah. But hotel and car renting are cheap too.

The morning we went for breakfast, and shopped for some chocolate and alcohols at the local shops. I bought some chocolates, for dad and mom, cousins, friends. yum yum.

Big Eagle~ Go Langkawi must visit this big bird. Why? Don't know, but make me feel the trip is completed. Took a lot crazy pictures with it, hahaha~

So nice, except no 'L' and 'I'.

The ferry back to Kuala Kedah is not as terrible as coming time, maybe the sea is calmer and we choose the back seat, plus bought sour stuff to eat. Hehe, did some homework.

This trip is not expensive, with the chocolate, is about RM200 per person. (for me la)

Thought:
The last time I been there is 6 or 7 years ago, not much memory. Now going back, feel not familiar at all, maybe not change, just feel fresh.

Certain tourism spot is seriously polluted, like the Black Sand Beach. Due to limited time, we can't visit more places, don't know other place's condition. But can make an assumption: those who take entry ticket survived, other free entry spot died.

5 guys trip, just nice, enough seat in a car, enough sleep in hotel, fast enough to make decision,

Maybe years later, I shall visit again.
