Beijing 2008 Olympic: One World One Dream

Every time I listen to Olympic songs by singers worldwide, I can feel the passion in it. People always said: must chase dream. What is dream?

For the players, to achieve the furthest, to catch up the fastest, to beat the strongest, is their dream.

I watched the Beijing 2008 Olympic open Ceremony in Old Town with Karen and Eddy, kesian 3 of us so lonely. The most impressive of all fireworks is the "29 Giant Footprints"!! Enco!

When the participating countries come out one by one, and when Malaysia's turn, everyone in Old Town cheered! Me too. Still the same sentence, Malaysia I love you and hate you.

and 70+ countries is really too boring to wait, as what we want to watch is the final touch, so we decided to go Bobby's house to watch stream TV from Internet. The quality not bad, with very minor lagging.

Still the same feeling, while I watching fireworks, my left hand will hold tight, hope your hand is in my palm, every time I watch fireworks.

2nd Button

Time is fast. When you enjoying certain things, you won't feel the time flow through your body, your mind, your hand, but it just will flow through, like air.

This week will be the last week of our MMU final year seniors, who going to have their Convocation on coming Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. I still have 1 year and 10 months in this university, although I always critic "MMU sucks la" , but finally I still want to be MMU-ian.

The best feeling, I can work now! Earn my own money, do my own thing! However, the worst feeling for graduating is the feeling of separate from friends, lecturers, exams, quizzes, ponteng(absent because of lazy), "sign for me"(MMU best slogan), and everything you can mention during university life, everything we say sucks, but the end we just want the "sucks"...

A less known Graduation Tradition
During graduation, guy will give away his 2nd button on his shirt(or uniform) to someone he loves, sometimes is the girl ask for it. But, for all the buttons on the shirt, only the second button be given away, why?

According to Japan tradition, second button on shirt is the button that nearest to heart. This is especially for school uniform, which represent the life of studying, where the guy wear it throughout the study time. It had gathered the love, happiness, sadness, emotions in it, and is very precious and full of memories.

 

But MMU without uniform, what to do? Figure it out yourself.

Babysitting.

My friend Karen is going to work outstation for few days, and she passed her lovely "Ah Boy" to me for few days, I transformed into a nanny.

Who is Ah Boy?
Ah Boy is a guinea pig, so fat!

His favorite food is cucumber and carrot. Although sometimes I do feed him some dry snack, but he will only eat it when out of cucumber and carrot.

I see he prefer carrot than cucumber, haha.

Half of Semester gone.

我的时间还停留在第四个礼拜左右，但事实上，已经度过了七个礼拜。这半个学期以来，做了一些之前都没有想过的决定，但值得高兴的是我没有后悔。

我学网球
受人影响吧，让我想要学好网球。还特地花一笔钱买了网球拍，天天都在家里和地上、墙壁一起练习，期待下一次和你一起玩球的机会时可以有一些成就。

Long Time never been to Time Square~

Since last century, I never been to Time Square, KL. A lot people don't like this place, and describe this place as "High class" pasar, with a lot "buy 1 free 3" promotions, and a lot "lala"(s)(gangster-look teenagers) and students in school uniform.

If not because GSC, I won't come here anymore...

Yesterday is JinJing's birthday~ as her ex-schoolmate, I shall go and greet her. (plus relax a while, I never watch hang out in malls for months!)

So early in the morning, with Tjun Kit from Cyberjaya, taking the god damn slow Rapid KL T429, to Putrajaya Sentral, and take another Rapid KL E1 to KL Sentral. Damn, 2 hours passed.

We hang around in Time Square, and watched The Dark Knight. Em, 3 out of 5 scores for the movie. The Joker is really talented, it's a big lost to movie industries. (The actor dead after completed filming the movie)

Oh ya, we do walk to Pavillion Mall for lunch~ Our tradition meal, Pizza, again.

Actually is because we planned to have a Special Birthday Song for her, to sing it in middle of mall, when we have our signal to start singing, she shouted and ran away~ What a shy girl...

Em, a day passed. This is not a good blog update, just want to update something. Hmm...  Have been quite headache these days. I think...

什么是有出息？

最近一位朋友，觉得自己的生活很悲、很辛苦。读了这么多年的书，明明不是自己喜欢的科系，却因为家长的执著，而不明不白的就要度过了大学生涯。很对不起那天对他发脾气，原本他心情烂想找人来聊聊的，但自暴自弃的对白让我很失望。。。可是却帮不上忙。

一些家长一直以为自己为子女做的决定，都是为他们好。给他们很多钱补习、读书、上大学，全部都帮他们选好、帮他们铺路，都没有好好地想过自己子女要什么。

一切不愉快的开始
孩子不敢违背家人的“命令”，只好“遵命”了。为了不想失去在家长心目中的“乖孩子”地位，在经过几次的尝试“求情”后，最后还是“任命了”。

在这样的家长当中，一些是为了面子，希望孩子长大成人后可以让家族发光发热；一些就因为孩子太黑暗了，被逼为他们的将来“绑牙”，希望可以稍微绑直，可是大多数都“绑不直”，还越来越歪。

最可惜的，就是一些家长以自己过去的的经验，还有社会的眼光，来为孩子铺路。一些家长小时穷，过得很辛苦，就以为钱是无所不能的。虽然以后发达了，就要孩子也像他一样发达；一些家长是老师，就要孩子也成为老师。。。什么道理？职业是半辈子的事，难道为了生存和社会的眼光，就要干自己天生不喜欢的事情半辈子吗？有钱不一定是快乐，没钱也不见得是不快乐。

职业没有贵贱，做医生和做清洁工人，都是为了一个同样的好理由而工作。很多人都认为画家啦，唱歌的啦，都是死路一条的，哪周杰伦哪里来？但也不否认更多的人被挤在门外。

可就是很多的天生艺术家因为家长的胡乱“绑牙”，把可爱的歪牙，都绑得直直的。虽然直了，但也白白受了这么痛的过程，还失去了可爱的本质。

其实。。。
但家长做了这么多，都是希望孩子有出息。出息，其实只要对得起自己的良心就好了，比起考上了医生，却是一个作弊高手，来得好多了。

很好的观念
看过很多外国的实地考察节目，尤其是中国，都对自己的职业感到很骄傲。有一个父亲，住在偏远的小镇，每天的工作是一个人在运输天然气的管道上，检察管道有没有泄气等等，周围都是沙漠，还早出晚归。但访问身为教师的女儿时，女儿却了解到天然气对一个国家的发展以建设是很重要的，虽然父亲工资低，但却觉得是很伟大的职业。还有好多的例子。

我很幸运，家长虽然有给过我意见，但没有干涉我的决定，我还是选择了资讯科技这一科系，上了自己决定的大学。虽然觉得自己有点自私，所以只好减少对他们的负担，不向他们要钱咯。

Cry~~ My skate ar!!

After the Putrajaya skates, I realized that my skate's cuff has a weird feeling, feel like less support, and difficult to tighten it.

After inspected it, oh no!!

See the difference between left and right? Yes, the silver button(or the right term is Cuff Button Axles) that use to tightened the cuff to the boot was gone! Must be loosen half way while enjoying skates!

I searched Google for help, and only returned an online shop that selling my skates' spare part, it's call EndLessRoll, tag with about RM50 without delivery charge yet! Damn!

Lucky...
I asked Terence, a Singaporean slalom skaters where to get the replacement for the Cuff Button Axles, and realized that Singapore is selling at only 2 SGD. EndLessRoll really con people!

Terence, which he so kind to send me a replacement, without any charge. I really appreciate that, really, thanks.

After I receive the cuff button, let's slalom!

A Funny Dream~

Last night I got a weird dream. Here it goes:

Oh no! Alien invasion! They are killing people around with super laser beam! So I have to get away from houses and city, and hide in the jungle~

So, what should I pack? Food! A lot of food! And also shirts! I packed my backpack and sling bag with food and shirts, and ready to leave the house.

Hey wait! My tennis racquet! Newly bought, used twice only, should I take together? And also my skates, I love it so much, but it's heavy! Em, maybe I can skate away when alien see me? No, no way. And also my computer! Perhaps I need to take out the hard disk and leave the rest, and also my Windows Vista DVD~

....

....

....

And I woke up, realize everything is just a dream, then it's time to start my day.

Haiz, never thought in the key moment, I still think of these stuff... But if it's real, I will take a lot of food, some shirt, sharp weapons, laptop, and camera, haha~
