Loan loan loan....

When the time I choose my campus and course to continue my tertiary education, I knew that I cannot rely on my parents for the tuition fees, which is too high and will become a burden for them, so I decided to take loan.

During choosing the right loans, I learn a lot of facts. Some loan provider can provide very high amount of money, but with high interest too. Some practice the opposite, but will have a lot of terms and conditions...

How to get Cheap loans? Of course need to survey around, and make comparison. A lot of lenders provide Unsecured Loans as well as Homeowner Loans, so, choose the right one before you taking the loans, so you won't be in serious debt.

Don't think I am so nice to bully....

http://www.bernas.com.my/images/hassanbig.jpg

Just now afternoon break, me and friends went to this restaurant for lunch. Don't be fool by the nice looking, their foods are so normal, and damn expensive!

2 months ago, they increased their price list, but never increase the quantity... So of course everyone expect their service improve. But this afternoon, I really fuck up by the waiter there:

  1. 1. We sit there for more than 5 minutes, no one even bother us, even I waived my hand many times.
  2. 2. They took the wrong order.
  3. 3. Other table's customer got the same food that we order even they came later.
  4. 4. My friend and I ordered Nasi Goreng, but they just came 1 plate.
  5. 5. They charge the wrong price for me.

What I do?
Of course "wash" them la! I called a waiter, and using angry tone to talk ask him:

me: mana saya punye nasi goreng?
waiter: er... tengah buat, nanti, nanti...
me: buat apa!? 1 Nasi goreng kena buat setengah jam ke? Kenape meja tu lambat, tapi dia dapat dulu?!
waiter: tengah buat tengah buat...
me: suruh u punye boss mari!
waiter: sedang buat...(walk away)

translate
me: where is my fried rice?
waiter: er... cooking,wait, wait...
me: cook what?! 1 plate of rice need to fried half an hour? Why that customer order later, but he got the food first?
waiter: cooking, cooking...
me: call your manager here!
waiter: cooking...(walk away)

Really piss off, we have 1 hour break, and waste more than half an hour waiting, for food, waiting for them to take order, and waiting for them to do mistake.

RMMU Carnival, Happy Birthday!~

Do you all know that MMU have their own radio station? Most people don't realize that, but this is the first online radio station in Malaysia, cool leh?

Not only the first, this radio station, RMMU which handle by DJ Club is even cooler! Why? It's just cool, no reason.

DSC00279

This week is RMMU's birthday! Me as just a working committee was busy these days, selling our own design of car signage, cool is it?

This is my idea sentence:
DSC00900

DSC00280

And other very 'diao' words too.

Yesterday, which is the first day of RMMU Carnival, we invited the Astro New Talent winner, Anthony Chang to perform and announce his new EP, Music Wonderland. Situation is not really really hot, as the weather is hotter. Many people bought his EP and queue for his autograph, left me, who pocket empty stand aside, take photo enough.

DSC00898

Today, is My FM Ford Rangers and 2 DJs(I don't really know, because every time I just on radio and listen, don't know the DJ). And as usual, "Rangers" will give out freebies, cheap freebies, like magazine, tissue paper, and stickers.

DSC00283

Questions need to be answered to win freebies, first question: who is the most beautiful DJ in My FM? Then is, Who is the tallest DJ in My FM? Who is the most handsome DJ in My FM? Who is...? And there is only the same answer.

Green Box in Campus? Never see before leh...

Tomorrow? Stay Tune.

Saturday Night Skates!

Yesterday night was my first time to SNS, Saturday Night Skates, a skating event by Skateline that held monthly. To my surprise, there is no rain, yahoo!

We reach Damansara by 8pm, and equipped ourselves. Only VHanded, Su, and How were the 'representatives' from MMU.

DSC00242

DSC00244

OK Let's Go!
DSC00236
After Steve the Black explained the route and giving lucky draws, we skated!

Along the road straight up, we reached a residential area, and there is a security guard blocked us, then this is the conversation between Steve and security(not exactly same word by word):

Steve: Encik, kita mau masuk cari kawan saje, boleh tak?

guard: cari siapa?

Steve: XXX, kita masuk dan cakap 'hi', then keluar.

guard: berapa orang?

Steve: ini saje.

guard: ok la.

Then we skated in, but do not find 'friend', we just skated round and round, fool the guard.

That's a very very fun community event, I learned a lot of facts during the few hours, and thanks to Kelvin who told me that Seba skates at Singapore can be obtained with 20% discount if I am member! Few more sponsored post to go. Seba High, one day I will ride on you and maneuver through the cone!

To cover my floor.

I don't have a garage.

However, I do have a small working space, which is enough for me to have my dinner, bed, 3 computer tables, and a lovely swivel chair.

The problem is the swivel chair's wheels, which will get stuck easily, as the floor is dirty always, (although the main reason is because I lazy to clean).

Getting a garage flooring in my working space, I think is a good idea, first make me feel cool during working, and it's easier to clean than concrete floor.

For the design, I think a bright tile looks nicer in my small space area, at least make it look spacious.

Prices increase, wages remain.

I really salute most Malaysians who still can survive under this big pressure, especially those low-mid-range families.

During the last Hari Raya festive, price of enrich wheat flour was increased, from RM1.70 to RM1.80 per kg, or RM0.10, or 10 cents, if you can't understand that amount.

OK, we Malaysians still can stand for that 10 cents, but hate those companies who never consider their customers, like Gardenia bread, which they increase the price from RM1.90 to RM2.10 per loaf of bread!

DSC00226

1 Pack is JUST 400g
I am a regular bread eater, with jam, butter, but mostly eat it blankly, and I prefer the market leader, Gardenia.  After the 3 weeks holiday, I realized that all Gardenia's products were increase in price. From their small bun to giant size bread, all increase prices in a very abnormal rate. Even worst, the mighty size Gardenia Bread increased 30 cents! Look like I will say NO to Gardenia bread, until they do something.

Don't say I kiam siap, I know we all can afford 20 cents, but, what they can explain for the 20 cents I paid? Give to their share holder's commission? F**K OFF!! When the price drop again, their prices never drop.

All Malaysian companies who increase price with unacceptable rate during EVERY prices increase in raw materials are so SHAMELESS!

PLUS Toll
Do consumers know that, PLUS toll profit was almost RM1.13 billion this year? See the keyword, is PROFIT, not revenue, and is BILLION, not million. So why the fu*k they want to increase the toll?! Can't they don't know how important they are on Malaysia's economy? A 50 cents increase in toll charge will trigger RM0.50 in all items!!

Worst than pig! Brainless! All just for share holder's benefit, and those country junk minister like Sami Vellu.

1 day if I pass the toll, will give them all coins, in 1 cent!

If there is no consumers, your company will die, no matter how many investors you got. We are your key to survive, not your target to slash.

Putrajaya Skates with Skateline

I am addicted with speed!

This morning is the Skateline community skates event held at Putrajaya Boulevard, actually is open to Skateline skate school members to test their skills, but us(me, kok, su, and How) without any relation with it(except we all are skaters) go there and join their skates.

Starting at Putrajaya Mosque, we skate along the Boulevard and come back, total length is about 6km, with skates! Walking is so slow! Skating too make greener environment, haha!

Cute little girl at The Curve talking with cow...

Skating is really fun, just the skates is kind of pricey, but if you serious with a hobby, money will be secondary in your consideration...(although still play a very very huge roles!)

What a.... crazy experience.

Yesterday night, me, Lih Shian, Kam Leng, went to KL, for their exam-end relax, and my new sem start warm up (such warm up?). And here give you all a good advice: The Exodus, 出埃及记, by Simon Yam, is really a "great" movie! I wait for the exciting part to happen, but none, and end up with "THE END" whole movie is for Oscar people only, sleep!

ok, movie over, and Secret Recipe, then bought a speaker for my new PC from LowYat, then another round of hawker stall. Kam Leng's Bak Kut Teh cost RM9, and then I know why KL people love Secret Recipe and Starbucks, which is kind of luxurious shop to us, we are so poor...

Stay Tune, exciting part started!
Saying bye bye, wave hand, and they heading to Universiti station, while I heading to Pasar Seni, waiting E1 Bus to back to Putrajaya, that time is 10:20pm. Weird, after 1 hour of waiting, I getting worried, and asked the Officer there, and shit, the last bus to Putrajaya is 10pm! OK, screw it, I got other options yet.

Going back to KL Sentral, and KTM to Bandar Tasik Selatan. Guess what? "Next departure time: 0545"......... ok, nice timing, I wasted another few Ringgits. Without thinking, I choose to back to Pasar Seni to take U41 bus back to Mines, where my housemate Su can fetch me, easier.

I am so lucky! The time is 11:30pm, there is only one last bus there, and it's U41! I get on the bus, and the driver told me: "sudah habis la", and off the lights, drove away.

The Night just started
OK, dead, and maybe a good thing too, I got something to write for today's blog. I spent my night in Pasar Seni station, lucky I bought a book, can read and spent time until tomorrow morning. I sms Su, my housemate, that I won't go home. Until 12pm, security guard halau me away from Putra Station, and I walk around with speakers, get life support--bread, from 7 Eleven, and stay in a hotel........lobby.

Worse case happen, What the hell?
My handphone battery dead, I lost contact with people. Lucky I am little smart ass, copy down all important contact first before it dead. When I phoned Su again, he is coming to fetch me, I think a while, em, ok too, try this crazy experience next time la.

When He and Yeoh arrived, WOW! They are like shining! Angel! Glad to be home! Not bad experience huh? KL night is so quiet~ Who experience before?

This is my new Speaker, Sonic Gear Spectra 200, RM59 only, not a powerful speaker, as I don't blast, just need to listen some sound enough.

Speaker

Whole PC
woofer on the ground.

When I am asking for more miracles, maybe miracle is already appeared....

My 'Wow' started late, but just right in time, I think.

Notice I never online for 1 week? Sad, during my holiday in Penang, my lousy-ultimately-seriously-slow-terrible-3.9-year-old PC was spoiled, due to my improper shut down, and the OS corrupted. Yes, you said: format la! And I will say: combo drive was spoiled almost 1 year ago.

Because of this reason, I came back Cyberjaya earlier, and get my new PC. (The old one will be repair! Just I need a more powerful PC). I went to Lowyat Plaza yesterday, alone of course. And get these rig from ViewNet, my favorite PC retail shop:

  1. BENQ FP92W 19" wide screen LCD monitor
  2. 1GB x 2 Kingston DDR2 800MHz
  3. Gigabyte P35 DS3 Motherboard
  4. Intel E6550 processor
  5. 250GB Western Digital Hard disk
  6. LG 20X DVD burner
  7. and, Gigabyte GeForce 8800GTS 320MB

029

Just the monitor already weighted more than 6kg, and only me, with 2 hands, carry it back from Lowyat Plaza KL, to Cyberjaya. (of course I ride bus and train la)

Actually want to build it today morning, but I started 4am last night, 'thanks' to Nescafe and mosquitoes.

Here it goes
039
my hand shake like chicken leg, not because too excited, you will know if you carry 10kg stuff from KL to Cyberjaya.

042
Then is the stock heatsink. So noisy, consider to change it later.

045
2 slots of RAM.

048
Just realize I forgot to fix the back panel, so have to unscrew the motherboard from  casing......

055
The queen of my rig, 8800GTS~~

Completed 1
Completed!

Outview 2  So handsome, for now. Can't tell 2 years later.

DSC00170
Full System look, but without speakers yet. Actually want to get Samsung 931BW monitor, then the whole system will look black.

Inject the soul
I used to say: why study IT? Because if there is only hardware, there is no meaning for a PC to exist, so IT professional will design the soul, inject it, and give life to PC... I injected(installed my long long Vista

Technorati Tags: , , ,

that I bought 6 months ago)

Review? Perhaps.
I am not some reviewer, just write out what I feel about these.

BenQ FP92W
According to the shop seller, BenQ color is "nicer". What I thought is, human eyes can't differentiate a very minor difference in color, unless 2 monitors putting side by side. Another weakness is, when you view from 45 degrees from the top, the screen is in pink color. That time, Samsung 931BW out of stock, so I just get this BenQ, save RM 130.

8800GTS 320MB
Until now, I still didn't really find out the difference yet, only in heavy graphic rendering task like games, then I will notice. With current max 450 Watt output, I worry it may not enough to get peak graphic performance. One more, the nVidia control panel sucks! Just simple adjustment, no fun.

Intel processor - stock fan so noisy!

Kingston RAM - 800MHz 2GB, compare to my previous PC with 133MHz 512MB, really a big difference in reading and writing speed.

Hard disk - fast enough la~~ 250GB yet, won't full in these years. (Hey, no porn in my hard disk!)

LG 20x Secure Burner - What is that secure feature? I also don't know, hope it won't get into my way during reading and writing data.

After Word:
I spent about 5 hours to set up this machine. This is a long time, as I doing it slowly, taking photos, finding right tools, and reading manual book. The tools I used to unscrew and screw include scissor and a screwdriver with big body which can't screw narrow parts.

This is consider my first desktop computer. I used to do all my computing on my 3.9 years old laptop, which I got it in early 2004 as my PMR full As reward. Now it has to be retired, thanks for giving me fun, help me do homework, talk and act story to me.

Don't call me rich bastard as I bought 8800GTS. I don't want to waste my money on directX 9 card, and compare 8600GTS, the price is just 200~300 different, but performance is 3 times better than 8600GTS. So invest on 8800GTS would be much better in long term.

Will do a benchmarking for my PC later, current Vista Rating, I got the following score:

  1. Processor 5.3
  2. Memory 5.9
  3. Graphics 5.9
  4. Gaming graphic 5.9
  5. primary hard disk 5.3

OK OK la, I just hope there won't be any defect, then this PC should stand for 5 years before coming to outdate fate.
